1 year since I first unpacked and reviewed the LARQ bottle and bottle movement - the first smart-self-cleaning bottles said to purify 99.99% of bacteria - here's an updated follow-up after using since. These have since been renamed Bottle PureVis and Bottle Movement PureVis after LARQ launched the non-smart cleaning insulated bottles, but everything is still practically the same. OK, so I got a little carried away with the title, BUT there's some truth to the matter. I've tried LARQ filter and PureVis bottles and reviewed in my past time to know these are game-changers for cleaner water on my travels, but filling these up at home can get repetitive in the smaller sizes. The pitcher is LARQ's answer to my problem, with a 1.9-litre size and adds the two-bottle tech into one jug. It's no exaggeration if you're not yet into the filter water lifestyle, this not only tastes soft, smooth and better but stays cleaner for longer for the holy LARQ trinity. Steep price tag I'd like to see cheaper, but the investment is worth the health benefits if you're committed. Here's my unbox, prep, setup and first drink thoughts. This is why my water bottle has a usb port. I like it for convenience. I leave it beside my bed and I honestly don't drink the whole thing for me to wash it daily. It doesn't make my bottle smell or have the stale water taste. The LARQ pitcher was a successful Kickstarter and made many promises and requires no kitchen renovation/modification or complicated installations. Did it live up to the hype? Did I get rid of my Brita? UPDATE Jan 2023: My wand isn't working well lately. It's been turning on auto wand and staying on for like hours. It happens once in a while but enough to drain the battery. Reached out to LARQ, normally they would just issue a replacement but in my situation they had previously refunded me due to some complaints off the Kickstarter.
